On the list for me would be Star Wars, but Blade 2 would be a very close second. Shame Trinity was so dire.

A bit of both for me. In terms of blockbusters, prefer Chinese and HK films over Hollywood. Unfortunately though, most of them do not get global releases. Thankfully IP Man 3 has a UK release date for January 15th. Probably will be looked upon as being an indie rather than blockbuster. Hopefully Warcraft will be a biggie next year.

Played Risk a long time ago, with the likes of Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit. Had a Star Trek TNG chess set that was quite fun.

She looks well tasty, then I am quite biased. She looks good. Hopefully won't do a Madge and get too obsessed with how she looks. It is nice to see her doing well, as Serraph105 said, all the crap she has been through and all the snide media stories and suchlike. At one point it seemed she was never out of the papers in the UK.

Bought this but yet to install it. Those that do have it, I am wondering about the career mode. Playing a season, have any of you found that it can get respective quite quickly playing AI teams. IE does the tactical and management element actually have an effect, rather than just being a game element for the sake of it. Just curious as I do like my football management games like the PC based FM series for example.

Did anybody else get the impression that Ren had a strange gait. Reminded me of the Vader model motion that was in the Force Unleashed. Also he seemed to weild that Saber really slowly, so not a advanced force weilder as I thought he would have been. Anyway I thought the silliest thing was Ren's Saber. Thought they were supposed to be metaphorically like the Katana, not a whacking great Broadsword.

There's reason's for that. He's an newby, a sith padawan essentially. Also the latest thing to come out is his Lightsaber crystal is cracked, making it unstable, the hilt is designed to exhaust extra energy making it more like a broad sword. He rebelled against Luke early in his training, I personally think Snoke is the actual reason Luke is defeated, not Kylo Ren. Kylo just helped Snoke destroy Luke's academy (that part is purely my thoughts, they could be wrong, but I feel it might be a case, we won't know for sure until the new trilogy is complete)

That would make sense. Guess up until Rey, there would be no need to rectify that. Thing is though, surely with a broken crystal, Kylo would have to recitfy that in the following films. It would be like having a racing car on a grid, but with some cylinders down. It would cough and splutter but work, but not at the level required to win. Anyway Snoke seems intriguing to me. Looking forward to finding out where he came from in terms of using the force.

@battlefront23: Being able to recognise good things about a movie has nothing to do with taste. I can recognise good things in a lot of movies I hate. I can dislike a great movie while knowing it's a great movie just because it's not in a genre I normally enjoy.

Well take the word taste, and apply it to what it is normally referred to; food. Now we can objectively say that someone who enjoys a home cooked and authentically made Cuban sandwich (don't know why that came up, maybe I want one! lol) more than a BigMac has better taste, right? And the one who likes BIgMac more has worse taste, even if he is convinced the BigMac is better. The Cuban sandwich, literally, is tastier.

And also, if you know you don't like the genre, that in and of itself means your critiquing or taste on that particular style is jaded. That's why I can't judge a lot of 70s music, including Pink Floyd and the like, as "bad music" merely because I don't like the style. I know it is critically acclaimed, so even though there is something holding me back from liking it right now, I would never call it "bad" music. And this brings me full circle.

TFA is a Star Wars film, which A) are primarily designed for children, and B) almost ALWAYS have recycled elements from previous films. To judge it as if it was supposed to be an Alien film, or a Star Trek film, or some other space fantasy/si-fi film series is unfair. You know what you're getting when you watch Star Wars. TFA just gave us a 2015 version of it, and people are bothered by a lack of originality? Many stories use repeat elements because if it isn't broken, don't fix it.

Since when has there been recyled elements from the first three?
