Just buy XCOM instead. Half the price on Steam, 200x the quality.

@piyush529 Like you said, you have to have played the earlier games to understand most of what people don't like about this. I certainly understand where both sides are coming from, but I always play at least one of the earlier games in any series before playing the new one if I've never played it before, so that I know what I should compare it to.

All in all, I can say this: It may not be too bad of a game on it's own, but as long as it carries the name "Thief", it's gonna have to live with being compared to the other games.

And I still just want a new Battlefield game where you can play against and with bots in a private match. The last BF that allowed this was 2142, and that game is getting a little old.

@JustPlainLucas @BradBurns I'm sure planning to buy a Wii U so I can play this game. I know I'm only one person, but I can't be the only one.

@itsHumanity Wouldn't that be how all sequels works? I was excited for Final Fantasy X, even though it was just more Final Fantasy. As far as Call of Duty goes, look at gameplay footage from the first Modern Warfare, and then look at gameplay footage from Call of Duty: Ghosts, then you'll understand exactly what it is that people are critisising it for.

@divinejester Hmm, objective, eh?. That's interesting. A game should be rated after how good it is, and how well it plays, not after how realistic it is. (In which case, Arma should get an instant 10)

@infectedelement @Liam4 Making a good sequel is pretty hard. It shouldn't just be more of the same like New Super Mario Bros. U or all Call of Duty games ever released, but neither shouldn't it completely ignore the previous game mechanics, like Ghost Recon: Future Soldier did. I think Mario Kart 8 definitely is more of the same, but at the same time it doesn't feel like a boring game for that matter, they still need to keep it a Mario Kart.

@youngzen69 If you enjoy games that lack color, then I suggest picking up L.A. Noire. It has a setting that turns the game black and white, that should be color-less enough for you.

@MapRef41N93W Because games made for local MP works sooo well on the PC.
