thats normal , you will be charged like 2 days before release , it wont allow you to launch the downloaded game anyway before launch and the processed payment prior to that

Oh, thanks for the reply. Thought it would be something like that. The whole concept is a bit confusing.

Well I preordered RE6 in PS Store some time ago, added the required money in advance. Today I am downloading the game right now (10 GB). But I still was not charged at all and the money is still there in my wallet. Does anyone have experience with this? If I spend the money on something else now will the game just disappear from my account on release date or what?

Just use www.ps3youtube.com Best for ps3 imo. Switching to HD sometimes goes off but its good enough and most importantly its quite fast (if you dont open too many tabs at once).

I played all previous CoDs and I have little interest in BO2. Only two things would make me buy it - if the bots are actually smart this time and can play objectives properly, and if they do something really big with zombies. And by big I dont mean the improvements in BO1 over WaW, that wouldnt be worth it to me as zombies in BO1 were somewhat uninteresting for me. And all that bs like its gonna be the best and most refined CoD ever? Yeah just like previous three huh?

As far as I know, ps3 has a bit more power but its also extremely difficult to use it properly so only 1st party devs can pull it off (Naughty Dog to name one). Many multiplats look and perform slightly better on 360 as devs making multiplats dont have time/money to fiddle with ps3 to use its full potencial.

EDIT: And also from what I read about Naughty Dog, they manage to do this by using Cell to do some stuff that normally a GPU does as ps3"s gpu is worse than the one in 360. No multiplat dev would do such thing I guess (using CPU to substitude for GPU).

That is exactly what I want. Im so sick of this gen which has plenty of games very similar to each other which makes them boring. I love unique games and approaches, thats why Heavy Rain remains one of my best games ever. Thats why I love indie games and cannot wait for a unique big budget game like this. Haters can call it whatever they want but I would rather take this than another dull mindless shooter or whatnot.

EDIT: Also another great game this gen was LA Noire. What a shame it didnt do as great as it should have. It may have flaws but as an experience it was something new and thats what I like about such games and can overlook little issues.

I think some GB are used for games as a temporary storage, not sure how is the correct term for it.

Wireless... thats your problem, go wired. I tried wireless once, have a decent router but it was slow anyway.

Meh, I can appreciate the game and why it is appealing to some, but I dont personally like this kind of stuff. PC and consoles both have experiences you wont get anywhere else. Nothing new.
