I preordered this game through PSN and downloaded (I thought so anyway) the game. It came up as completed and then I just had to wait for Oct. 7 to arrive. It's now Oct. 7 and all the game let's me do is play a demo game between SA & MIA. After checking my storage contents, it says on only 30/47GB is complete. In Notifications, it says the game is complete as well as an update.

How do I activate it to finish download (which defeats my whole purpose of pre-ordering the digital version)? It's also kinda irritating me that when I check the store, it's still flashing "BUY" even though I'm staring at a receipt from Sony and can see where the funds have been taken from credit card.

i would love to help out but unfortunately, i'm struggling to find fun in this game myself. i've been playing 2k for many years but this version is no good to me. previous version were much better. for starters, i just want to play basketball. (referring to my career) all these RPG-style, unskippable cutscenes are not needed. this confrontation with Ellis is also not needed. the controls have changed since 2k13 and without some sort of practice arena, i find myself making mistakes constantly because i'm trying to learn on the fly. the only good thing for me about the game right now is that i didn't buy - just played a friend's copy.

there's no matchmaking. you have to have (or find) friends to play w/ and invite them. blows, i know.

i actually think 7.5 is a pretty accurate score. there's a lot to like and i do personally like the game but it does have more than a few noticeable flaws. and for a game that push back as many times and as long as this one was, some of those flaws should not be. the game also limits you. lack of matchmaking for guerrilla just wastes that game mode when it looks like it could be a lot of fun.

just got it and i'm playing it. i'd like to try Decoy but it's never anyone in that game mode.

Lately, I've been considering whether or not to get DC Universe Online. One of the several drawbacks I have is about the $15 monthly charge. Now I understand that most MMOs charge this but it still seems a little off to me when it comes to a console. Especially if you're still charging $60 for a disc with no offline value. In various forums, I've seen quite a few DCUO owners defending the price (and they have every right to). Traditionally, PSN users make the statement "PSN is free and Xbox Live cost money". On a monthly basis, Live costs about $7.99 to play any game online. What's ironic to me it that now these same users are now willing to pay almost twice as much a month to only play one game online. Does this strike anyone else as being odd?

We go by Gamers Unitied. We play mostly shooters and sports but it's whatever you're into. We have in-house gamedays where we battle against each other or squad up and go online as well as in-house tournaments. We do Game Battles for those members interested.
