I agree, the mini direct is likely to get the smaller titles out of the way. Dark souls was likely introduced just to have one somewhat larger surprise in the mix. But yeah likely around the end of the month 25th - 26th they will do a larger one that will be more focused on the major games and a few new surprises.

Actually Nintendo have been around for over 100 years. They got cash enough to lose a ton of money for like 20 - 50 years or so. But yeah I think they will actually do really well with they Switch. Personally really hyped about that console. Think it's really all I ever wanted in a console.

@electricocarinaYeah I agree, reviews been really weird towards Nintendo lately even if majority of the Wii U games are absolutely great. Think the closest I ever come to great gameplay on a playstation console for example is Southpark the stick of truth and that says a lot. And I also actually really enjoyed this game so really don't get what's up with the review and then I also played trough for example the last of us. For me this game should have deserved at least a 7. And yeah the only bad thing I can really say is that the game was a little linear, besides that it was really fun to play.

@dani_i89:Yeah, I agree that complex games are nice to, liked heavy rain for example as I said above. Tried the witcher but it didn't really fall into my taste, but yeah I have friends that like that one. But I still think you're saying stuff without having a clue what you're talking about.

Nintendo is fun for alot of reasons and also superior in other aspects and let me share some of my experiences bellow.

Guess one fun thing about them is that they make interactive stuff. Either if it's a console or a game. For example Super mario 3d land for the 3ds had a certain moment in the game where you actually had to shift between the 3d view and the 2d view to solve a problem. Zelda for the ds had moments where you actually had to blow out candles trough the microphone to solve a puzzle.
In zelda and Metroid for the Wii you could actually aim with the Wii mote. You could even jump off ledges and control how you fell just by tilting the wii mote in different direction.

Splatoon for the Wii U is about painting the map in you're color instead of just killing stuff. You can actually paint a trail on a wall, swim in the paint and in that way climb over it.

You have Project Zero 5 (survival horror game) that will be out in a Month or so where you will be moving around the gamepad to spot ghost that you can't see on the tv screen.

You have star fox zero that will be (for what I know) the first game ever to be played first person and third person at the same time.

You have Xenoblade Chronicles X that will be out by Chrismas that just looks asome (can't even put words on how much cool stuff the cramped into that game and how hyped I'm about that game).

I actually played Mass effect 3 on my Wii U gamepad lying in my bed last Winter, just preferred experience the game that way. It's this sort of diversity and great gameplay that makes the console and the games great. They have a mind for detail. You actually want to collect the collectibles (not just trophies and stuff). Or hey, how about this, you're not forced to have sing star installed on the console and you can actually move the incons whereever you want!
You don't have 740 addons with no clue what you want to get (dead or alive 5 for the playstation 4 actually have this). And each game doesn't come with 50 GB of forced downloadable patches that are just not optional.
And yeah the Wii U can play any of the classics you so loved as a child, in the tv or on the gamepad, you're choise!
And yeah you can actually get a Wii U and about 10 games for the same price as a playstation 4.
But yeah, a playstation or an xbox compliments the wii u in some ways and some games that are good. But yeah this is just my opinion as a happy owner of both system.
But you know what, I would still recommend getting a Wii U before you buy either of the other two consoles. But hey that's just me. ;)

I take this as you haven't really owned a Nintendo console since snes. Infact, you probably got the first playstation and stuck with it. And yeah, Nintendo is not about stuffing in hardware in the console. But if you trully think Nintendo is about WiiFit then you're just a lost cause.
For me Nintendo is about two things:
* Giving you a different gaming experience from game to game witch they do really well.
* Producing games that make you happy.

@timetraveler_x: Your first mistake was assuming i'm a dude who owns a different console and just hates on Nintendo. What I currently own makes no difference.

The fact is that I gamed religiously on Nintendo since the NES up until the 64 (my all time favourite console). Nintendo was just magic. The Gamecube was a bore fest, and after that Nintendo sold it's soul for a quick buck. Nintendo was known more for it's motion sensing controller by the masses (non-gamers) than by actual gamers. It's why WiiFit is one of the best selling games of all time. Nintendo found a way to appeal to the casuals, which Nintendo says is a good thing by "reaching out to more people". In doing that, they failed people like me, the hardcore Nintendo fanboy in me is long dead...the person who cared about gaming and not gimmicks. The fat iPad ripoff of a WiiU controller is no better.

I'm sorry, but the fact is that most Nintendo games have been dumbed down for the younger/casual generation. They can't release a game without making it all cutesy and fuzzy, and when they don't, its just plain uninteresting. Hyrule Warriors is a disgrace to the Zelda legacy and Splatoon is just....meh. Couple the bland games with the outdated hardware, there is simply no game that immerses and amazes players. As sad as it is to see Mr Iwata has passed away, I honestly believed he killed Nintendo. From a business perspective, I believe Nintendo is better off without him. Gaming has evolved and moved forward. Nintendo simply hasn't.

@dani_i89:Well Dani, let me guess. You're one of those dudes that own an Xbox or a playstation or something like that and consider that to be one of the greatest consoles in the world. And really haven't bought this game or even owns a Wii U for that mater either.

I personally owns both a Wii, Wii U, a playstation 3 and playstation 4 and consider each consoles good in it's own right but with completely different strengths and yeah I own alot of games on each console to. For example, I really like resident evil 5, 6, GTA 5, Catherine, Tomb Raider on the playstation 3 and 4. But yeah, the Wii U have som solid titles to, like Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, Huryle warriors, Splatoon and so on. They are not the same but great in their own right.
So yeah the Wii U kicks as and this game is actually pritty good, looks nice, have a nice feeling to it. And yeah it's not the dead serious type of game as Catherine or heavy rain is that just gives you mental issues if you play it for to long. Instead it's an easy going, hard boiled action game that's just perfect when you want to kickback and kick some as.

Bought the game and don’t get the grade. It’s really fun, the graphics are great and the gameplay is solid. Actually watch the single player gameplay and you will probably agree with me. It’s like the game gets a bad grade just because the main character is Russian or something?

For example the Swedish Ign review gave the game 7. It’s just ridiculous have much shit this games get from the US reviewers. Even seen other pages giving this game 9 out of 10 stuff.

Looks fun, and a little over the top. Just to bad with the micro transaction. But to many games suffers from this now a days.
