Making Windows look like a Chromebook… yuck. I get why they did it. Almost every gradeschool child has a Chromebook now and they wanted to be familiar to up and coming graduates. But. Yuck.
Microtransactions reflect the greed of corporate mentality. Publishers and Developers are now putting more and more of their efforts into how to get you to pay more, and this could negatively impact game quality. I'm worried they withhold features and game content so they can try to charge more for them later.
"We also know that rewards will be less about making you more powerful; instead, you can expect "unique rewards to help you shine."" So all this hard work and you don't get an upgrade, just a shiny?!?
Iron Banner used to give upgrades... Now my level 300 player is getting level 293 rewards. I'm not liking this new ladder system they have for gear in Destiny 2.
I love Star Trek and have watched every series and episode since The Next Generation first aired when I was in high school. I liked the first episode of Discovery. However, I'm not supporting this greedy new business model. They already get millions from syndication and broadcast fees. I'm getting a kick out of The Orville and will get my SciFi fix there this season.
Looks fun to me, but most annoying aspect seems to be the fact that you cannot tell what's friend or foe unless you zoom in your view and inspect 1 ship at a time...
