its coming to XBLA tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know this is kinda nerdy, but lets have a countdown to midnight XD lets try to get hourly responses in countdown-form.

e.g. at 1:00pm someone posts "11 more hours!" and so on until midnight.

yes, this is really cheesy, but my family has been playing the SNES version for years, and i wanna see how many other people are the same!

so ill start: 12 HOURS UNTIL TMNT 4: TURTLES IN TIME RE-SHELLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe its because the japanese are smart. JRPGs are all about story, no? think about it, are you gonna feel more emotion for a teen, or an old man?

almost all the characters in JRPGs are inexperienced, and have never gone through tough stuff like what happens in the story. wouldnt there be a much lesser sense of emotion if it was an adult that's been through at least some of life's trials?

people play for fun, thats the concept of gaming, me gaming since ping pong, mom tell me you play like since kid now stop you do not grow no mature.

o comeon, she is the one stopping me from getting my hands on a ps2. i think gaming is a part of my life and i do not think age has anything to do with playing games, except certain genres, but i do not play adult games either, and other then that most gamers are playing cause its sort of their habit and also for having fun, i am sure if i was in korea or japan i would have made more money via gaming victories.

in anycase i think everyone from grandfather to grandson should play together as its a mind relaxing activity, i think stress can be declined via games.

and the only person in my family who would bother to play with me would be my bro as he was there with me 8-16 bit two player gaming, two player is such a fun.

youruser

so what your saying is, you've been playing games since the beginning (the refference to playing pong and playing the 8-16 bit games with your bro), yet its your mom's decision whether or not you get a ps2? shouldnt you be old enough to make that decision on your own?

sorry, i had to throw that out there

*******POSSIBLE SPOILER*********** i teared up a little bit during tale of symphonia (gamecube), but not when i beat it. it was at the part where everyone starts sacrificing themselves so that lloyd could make it to yggdrassill and save collette, i was like "its over, its all over, why does everyone have to die!!!" the character development was so amazing, and seeing everyone confront death like that really shook me. i was actually glad when that wasnt actually the end of the game, and the end was actually happy.

i personally enjoyed "Eagle Eye," despite the crappy reviews. overall, it didnt make much sense, there was a mysterious voice that kept calling the main dude's cell phone, and they had to do exactly what the voice said in order to save the main chick's son, who was on his way to play trumpet in his school band for the president. i guess it makes some sense, but then, some didnt make any sense at all. i still enjoyed it, despite some story issues. never a dull moment, lots of action and tension.

I liked Eagle Eye also and if you have ever played MGS2 than I think you would feel the story made quite a lot of sense

oh, really? ive never played MGS, so i wouldnt really know haha

ok, so im kinda torn between these 2 games: lost odyssey (360) and star ocean: last hope (360). i like the real-time combat system in star ocean, but i like the length and emotion of lost odyssey. can anybody help me out on this one? i may not even get either of these, they're just 2 games im looking at

P.S. i understand there's some sort of MMO deal in lost odyssey, whats that all about?
