@themyth01 even the Forge editor seems great. I'm surprised they got so much out of 343, but because Microsoft is paying for a lot of the development, they're gonna make a great game. I don't think Halo 2 or 3 or Reach had this much MS support.
@GymFox They didn't delve very deeply into this one. I have seen a lot of gameplay streamed online of Halo 4 and I think it 'deserves' a 9, but this review didn't do it justice. They should have made the review like 5 minutes longer at least. Although there weren't any spoilers, I don't think many people were expecting any. Only Halo 3 had to be kept under strict wraps because of the importance of the storyline (i.e. master chief was falling from space at the end of Halo 2). 343 already released videos of the Prometheans all over the web, so that was spoiler enough.
But I agree that this review is biased, but it doesn't explain why Halo 4 deserves the 9. I think it helps that Halo 4 progressed from it's predecessors, which were good games, so that seems to be reason enough.
@ooblah @JustPlainLucas hmmm I thought that the ForeRunner section of the campaign was 8 - 10 hours, but I could be mistaken. 8 - 10 Hours isn't that long...
@CreMax90 I try to imagine the space in the industry for Ouya like this: if you know how the download chart looks for uTorrent, with the lines randomly filling in as the download completes; I think Ouya will fill the gaps that the big 3 won't be able to fill properly. Specifically, due to limitations in overall console, game, and accessory costs. And new games that are put off by the whole package.
I'm thinking of picking one up because of convenience, and that I won't feel tied in to any gimmicks; I can buy games as they come along, and at around $100, I'm perfectly fine with that. (I have SCII and DIII for my hardcore experiences)
At my dorm, I don't have enough room for my Ps3 and Xbox (my Wii is totally out of question in a college atmosphere, although I love Zelda, Mario, Metroid, RE4, Mario Kart and SSBB/SSBM).
