I just read at Gametrailers.com that Peter Moore is leaving MS. What do the fans think about this? He is going to EA and is being replaced by Don Mattrick from EA. For me is it weird that Peter is going to EA and being replaced by someone from EA. I personally don't like EA business model, or what I see come from it; coming out with sub-par games and rehashing the same old things. What are your thoughts? By the way here's the link: http://www.gametrailers.com/viewnews.php?id=4888

I didn't read your post right, I see that you have Oblivion; Rainbow Six is good' I wasn't aware if you had got Ghost Recon 1; because people still play this game.

You  can get the most playing time out of Oblivion. There is no online play but if you don't care about the genre then you will have the most fun out of this one for the longest time. The rest of the games are fun like Gears but the story isn't the best, and if you are like me; after you play online for awhile and nothing changes; I become bored. I haven't played Marvel yet but I heard this group of guys talking about how much they loved it, but like any game, the more people you play the better it is.

I just wanted to mention HAPPY DAYS because one of my favorite games franchise is possibly coming to the 360. OPFLASH was the only reason that I got my original Xbox, but too much disappointment because Operation Flashpoint Elite was released LATE into the Xbox's life span. Even the first one was a good game well if you were into detail and realism over graphics. The Xbox couldn't handle this game which was originally released in 2001 for the PC. Even today people are still modding away at the PC version.

I was just wondering were there any fans of this game for the PC or the Xbox, and what do you think of OPFLASH 2 being release on a console

Look at another source for the format wars perhaps the news or Cnet because it seems as though Blu-Ray has taken the lead almost 2 to 1. You could save your money and wait for there to be a clear winner because at the moment it is only for bragging rights to say that you have a HD-DVD. MS is now being uncertain with their support of HD-DVD by say they will support the winner. Look at the studios that are following each format Blu Ray is killing HD-DVD. Also, if you want a Sony owned film like Spider-man 3, it is only going to be released on Blu Ray and regular DVD formats. Remember Sony has had time to figure out what went wrong with the last format war, VHS vs Beta. So I think they may be ready this time. Just my advice, SAVE YOUR MONEY WAIT, because I'm sure you don't have to be the first in your neighborhood to have HD-DVD or Blu Ray!!! Does anyone else agree with this?

The reason that I use Carmine is because if you notice during multiplayer, HE speaks the less. So you don't hear this crazy punchlines or him breathing like the others. At least that is what I noticed.

[QUOTE="-Zaku-"]MS sees the sales of Gears and when they see Epic releasing new content, they're going to tack a price onto the content to feed to the 2mil + buyers. Sadly, can't make your voice heard when people buy the content regardless...

This is true. But if MS has this as their Business Model to charge us, just so "we are use to paying for content" according to April's Game Informer. Personally, I don't mind paying for downloadable content, matter of fact, I've spend many points on doing so. It is when they want me to pay for content that the companies want to GIVE AWAY for free is when I have a problem.

People find ways to complain about things without understanding things.

For one.. Microsoft knows this is an easy way to make some money... Yes, I would rather NOTTT pay then pay.. But if I have to, whatever.

For two... For every bit of content or game that a company makes on a microsoft system, microsoft basically has to compensate them for that. It makes sense... If you want content or programs on your system, then your going to have to pay for it to be on your system... So, something tells me there is more to this then people think. I don't think Epic is "fighting" microsoft and saying that they WANT Microsoft to make their maps free... I think it's more like... Microsoft is having to compensate Epic for their games, and give them money to make MORE maps for the game, so it sells and more people play it... And Epic wants them to be free, so then... Microsoft doesn't really see any return of this money.

Remember, that companies get money to make these extra maps and things somewhere... And no company releases maps quickly and efficiently unless they are getting something in return...

So saying it's all microsofts fault is kind of ignorant...

If you don't want to pay for the maps, then don't. If you get mad at microsoft, you may as well get mad at epic, since they are both to blame in this situation.

This isn't an epic battle of proportions... And if they were really "fighting" over whether or not it costs money... I'm sure epic would just threaten to release the game on ps3 or something. Obviously, Epic isn't trying too hard... So it can't be that they are the holy people trying to battle the evil Satanic microsoft.

Bigfoot_Slayer

I've done my research on this. There are many of the companies that want to release their stuff for free. Think about it; if you keep your game fresh, people will keep playing it until you drop a full expansion pack or second game.

Epic is known for dropping updates for free because they want people to play them. Listen to the podcast! It is Microsoft's business model that doesn't allow for companies to give stuff away for free. If you read the interview from Ben Ward of Bizarre Creations with IGN UK, he is discusses that they wanted to give Geometry Wars away for FREE, but Microsodt would not let them. THAT IS WHY IT IS ONLY 400 MS POINTS!!!!

I hate when people who don't look at the evidence that is in front of them before coming up with a conclusion. I try to give you guys the links so you can do some critical thinking so you don't that I'm just pulling this stuff out of my butt.

Furthermore, Since Microsoft is known for its leaks; I have been able to keep up with this for months after I was bragging to my brother about my Xbox 360 and he brought up the fact that he gets FREE games on his PS3 like Tekken Resurection and GT HD. This got me thinking about what is Microsoft doing for us gold members?  I am trying to keep people informed on our lack of benefits of being gold members.

And truly think about it, do you think a game company will make more on selling a game that they fully support with updates and free maps (i.e. Halo 2) or by coming out with a game like Lost Planet; charging people for the maps? Even in this forum there is an example of a person who bought the Lost Planet maps but can hardly find some one to play.

Oblivion is the best so far. But I have found something that I like in all the games that I own so far. It depends on what you are looking for.
