Horrible games don't win GOTY awards ;)

When the only games a person has played are horrible, yes, they do.
When did you start gaming again? I know you're 15 but, when did you start?
Hmm...6 or 7 probably.
My first system was a Gameboy, started with FireRed. Great memories with that one. And I'd hardly say that that's the reason why the games won awards, Skyrim really is a quality game, undermining the quality of games most gamers play isn't an excuse to say it sucks.
I wasn't saying that's why the game won awards. I assumed you started gaming not too long ago, this only puzzles me more now.
Anyways, it won awards because of hype, and no one paying one ounce of attention to a game's foundation is why it is praised so.
And I won't try to explain why it's such a steaming pile, anyone who doesn't see past the opening sequence with the dragon having 12 frames of glitchy animation, 4gb's of low res, copy and pasted crud over such a large game and such a massive amount of glitches that some alpha games put to shame, won't understand.
The worst part? Even you yourself just acknowledged how god awful the combat was. The very foundation of the game. And it's only such a long game because all of the missions are copy and pasted as well.
No one cares about any of this, is the real reason it gets a free pass in the mainstream.
