Sorry my friend but Mac and gaming don't get along very well. You know what I mean.

I would by a Macbook, for internet and word processing. For games go with PC. You WILL save money and will be able to upgrade, not so much on a laptop, at least. If you want a laptop for games check out the new Dell XPS with the dual 8800 GTXs.

Are you advising him to save money or to waste his cash on a Dell XPS laptop with dual 8800M GTX cards?

I don't think the prices of the top of the line XPS laptop and the top of the line mac book pro have alot of difference in price, it just depends if you customize them or not. Plus one advantage of the Mac is leopard, for GarageBand, iMovie etc.

Still SLi in a laptop is stupidly awesome!

Problem is they won't tell me. I tried calling and they said,"we can't tell you over the phone." They said I have to bring it into the store.haloofduty4

Don't bother with trading it in you WILL BE RIPPED OFF! its not worth it, your best bet is eBay

[QUOTE="themovi3nut"]Blu-Ray on the PSP?? Not a chance. Blu-ray is High Definition and having HD on a PSP, theres no point. Sony's next handheld might have an imporved UMD that could store prehaps 3GB's of data but Blu-Ray for the PSP its a crazy idea and no point either. Plus its just not possible.ChesterTheWorm

It is possible just look at miniDVD's they are about the size of a UMD Disc & can have up to 5.2GB

Now imagine instead of having a mini DVD you have a Mini Blu-Ray disc youll probly have twice the data the DL miniDVD disc holds

But the only huge downside to this would be making a cost effective commercial friendly Mini Blu-Ray player for a handheld

Maybe when there done making the PS3 & are starting with the PS4 they'll have the technology to make a new PSP that has about the same graphics as the "old" PS3 & has a mini Blue-Ray player in it

....Its not going to happen, I haven't even heard of miniDVD's they sound like a waste of time. Why would you opt for a miniDVD when you can get a regular DVD and have better quality?? it doesn't make any sense, the same with UMD's. Sure its portable but your watching it on such a small screen. As for Mini Blu-Ray again it makes me laugh and why would Sony bother?

[QUOTE="CheeChee_Macko"]In what country do you live that you need a license to own a TV?braindead_hero

UK, every household needs a liscence to own any equipment which can recieve TV signals

My god, sometimes I can't believe other countries and how things are done. I know that some monitors with HDMI are getting alot cheaper now, dell has a 30" one that I really want.

I know I have heard of actual stores that do it, but I am not sure. You would have to check through the green guide I would say and prehaps the yellow pages, just make sure that the place you go to aren't running some cheapo thing otherwise you will be in trouble.
