Well, for the dissenters, you have to realize FFX was just a good looking game to begin with. It's like restoring a painting. All you can really do is brighten up the colors. If you used different materials, textures, etc it'd be a different painting (and you'd probably be strung up for destroying a classic)

Really I'd have to say the developers wrote their own doom on this one. In a sequel there could be natural progression of Batman's abilities; new gadgets, crazier villains, deeper, more dramatic plotlines, etc. With this prequel though, they put themselves in the position of having to find ways to make The Bat green, but not ineffective. That he might still have the toys, but earlier versions with limitations not had in the later years. If they did that, however, not only would new movement/fighting/gadget mechanics have to be built, probably from the ground up, but they'd run the risk of a lot of extra work for a maybe not so big payoff. Thus, since there can't be a progression, and a regression would be costly, they had to take the lesser of two evils to tell the story they wanted to tell.

I have a terrific one on my iPhone called Manga Reader. Has everything you could think of, and updates as soon as new chapters are released., also some decent search features. My only complaints are there isn't any plot info for anything, or reviews/ratings so it's a stab in the dark if I want something new.

Dude, just put Robotnik in a crazy machine, and let us go fast. Unlock knuckles, put tails back on the second controller, bring back the Chao Garden if you're feeling frisky, and sprinkle some super sonic in there somewhere. That's it. I can understand wanting to try new things, but what's all this story no one asked for, told by characters no one wants to listen to? Sega, you know I love pizza, and you offer me pizza every year, and then instead of pizza, you give me a flatbread, with pizzaish toppings because it's more trendy and modern. I don't give a **** what you think is new and exciting, I just want to love the things I love.

Okay guys, here's the deal abut the graphics: There are games like FFXV that try to be hyper realistic, and then there are games that have a specific art direction to set the tone. There simply can't be both, one will eventually detract from the other. This game is meant to look cartoony, and in line with it's Disney landscapes. How many photorealistic, super HD, brighter than the sun, Disney (or even pixar) movies have you seen? The art direction has not changed, so therefore yes, it's going to look very similar to the previous games, and for good reason: BECAUSE IT WILL LOOK SIMILAR TO THE PREVIOUS GAMES! If it looked or felt dissimilar that'd be a whole new can of worms!

Further, the graphics are very much improved even in this -early- build. The flame spells sizzle, and smoke, the lights emit a soft, warm glow, the shadows from everything from the upper levels of the town, to the space inbetween the cobblestones give everything depth, vines/pillars/signs/pipes/etc that used to be flat and pixelated now pop like they have real world purpose, and not decorations for a ghost town.

Saying this is PS2 level is like saying Borderlands 2 could have been on the PS2, or Dragon Quest VIII could have been on the Dreamcast. You really just end up showing your ignorance.

I dunno, I'm still pretty prone to shit my pants whenever a Hunter, or Crimson Head enters the frame, and I've played each RE enough to know their locations by floor number and room name. Sequels, in any genre, receive a lot of flak for not needing to bring innovations to the table, and stagnating the waters of creativity, but there's always one franchise born every few years that shows: If you care enough about your product it will always be relevant. It's fine if you don't know where to take RE, it's fine if you need to grow as a developer and try other things, but don't blame the games downward trend on its own fame. If things have gotten stale, it's up to you as a developer to sit down in front of your product, and say "Okay, what did I do wrong, and how can I be better." It does you no good to get yourself out of the hole you dug by climbing into a new one.

Apparently Copperhead is now a female in "The New 52" which is modern revamp of DC's biggest. Something of a B- tier character, but he/she shows up often enough for this to make sense to me.

References to Green Arrow, and Steel. Wonder if any of them'll have something to do with this?

Does anybody else notice the 360 controller prototype has more than a passing resemblance to that robot from Jet Force Gemini? Floyd, I think its name was?
