@darksynced: I'll give you the animations and work they did with the character models, God of War looks great in that aspect as well. I really want the new R&C too, any day now; but, that really is down to the artists, not so much the technical prowess.

Gotta be careful when you throw the letters "PC" around, the immediate thought sometimes is "have you seen Crysis modded?."

Since we're talking about the direction of art, I could chuck in a game like Ori and the Blind Forest, which is visually stunning but that's the subjective end of graphics.

@darksynced: I've got both UC4 and Doom on PC... while playing Uncharted I realized that ND is really good at knowing what to keep your eye on so you don't notice whatever might be lacking in detail.

It isn't going to go toe-to-toe with Doom or Battlefront maxed on PC and I'm talking about polygon count, lighting, shading, textures, reflections etc... NOT the style of art, that's a different discussion; otherwise I could chuck in games from any gen and say they look better.
