That was the generation I started reselling my games on Ebay. Having a scratched disk in anyway shape or form will cost you big. I always installed discs to the hard drive, and can honestly say I have never had a problem and neither have my customers who bought them in like new condition.

@jenovaschilld: Same stuff happening in the US Virgin Islands. Could not afford to live there anymore. Each politician is worse than the last, all the while shouting"change".

I wish they became states so they could be better monitored and governed.

If people in the states found out what is happening down there they would be appalled! They get hundreds of millions from the US a year, all going to waste.

Sounds like Filet Mignon vs Canned Chipped Beef.

Rift has already sold their first round of preorders meaning if we buy today we will be lucky to get it in May.

I am just going sit on the sidelines for a while and wait for the bugs to B worked out and prices to adjust.

VR is cool but I realm don't see playing this for over a half hour at a time. Especially not on LSD. (just kidding) But I would totally be down with playing it at arcade.

So disc drive, and downloaded games only?

I know people that want this now, but I still like buying and selling MY discs.

I love the convenience of downloaded games but if I want to continue playing 15+ games a year, selling some of old games is a necessity. And some I just won't be replayed anyway so might as well cash em in.

But great for digital first/only gamers.

Kid still believes in Santa, lets buy him a console with games that are not appropriate for his age...

Sounds about right. Carry on parents of the year coming through.

Wow she is beautiful in that picture. And truly lucky to be alive, that accident was horrific.

I really hope the studio and insurance companies take care of this brave woman. She still has a rough road ahead.

I join you guys in wishing her the best. A merry Christmas and happier New Year are ttyl deserved for her.

Coleco Vision was the only system I ever got as a kid. Didn't get another one til 360.

There were really a lot of great games on Coleco. Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Qbert, Turbo, Burger Time, Xaxxon and plenty more games you would see at the local arcade at that time

It was pretty fun.
