Hi all, wondering if anyone had good advice on building a custom laptop for gaming? I know its almost always better to go for a desktop for thisbut I'll be getting some cash soon and the portability they allow looks really appealing to me. I'm looking to spend around 1500 to about 2 grand, I'm pretty sure its doable to make a pretty decent rig I just have no clue where to start.

This is the same way xbox live functions just on a smaller scale (currently) but that could change.

I try to keep out of fanboy fights but honestly... the cows have to realize theres no difference between this Qore situation and the whole of xbox live. The only thing I can see so far is that Qore is only starting out. But who knows Sony could turn it into a full on service and basically mirror the scale xbox live has now.

So don't spin it to be a big problem (lemms) but dont spin it to be nothing (cows).

Your probably thinking of the work of Neil Blokenkamp or something (sorry neil about the last name if you read this), which were like test runs, seeing if halo could be done using live action.

So far I think they are pretty cool but really rough, but thats probably the point.
