I agree with most people. Geometry Wars is the best 400 points ive spent. Its simple and yet so challenging. Very addicting.

Well Microsofts 2 main exclusives are Halo and Gears and this is a Halo year so the hype machine for ODST should go into effect soon since Halo is Microsofts main exclusive. Theres also Forza 3 that I believe is supposed to be released this year, as well as the the next DLC for GTA4. Splinter Cell Conviction may release that year and I believe that may be exclusive as well and seeing how popular and how great past SC games have been, id call that another big exclusive for Microsoft. Thats 3 exclusives already known and were still yet to have E3 where others are more then likely to be announced. Its not even like a company typically releases a ton of exclusives in a year. Just a few marquee ones that hopefully deliever.

I know and well at least in my opinion what got lost to the reviewer is the fact that Halo Wars isnt targeted for the hardcore RTS fans, but its targeted more towards the Halo fans, and most die hard Halo fans genre of choice would be FPS and not RTS so the game was on purposly made to be simple and not as deep as typical PC RTS for the sole purpose of allowing Halo fans to be able to pick it up and play and have a good time even if they never played an RTS before.

That's actually pretty much what the IGN reviewer said lol.

oh i wasnt aware of that lol thats funny. I just think that the person on this site reviewed the game too harshly and not in the proper context. I can understand the game getting a 6.5 when compared to the other more complex RTS out there but the game more should have been reviewed for what it is and what its trying to do, and not reviewed by being compared to everything else its not trying to be.

i dont know, maybe because surprisingly the game wasnt as terrible as the first one and was actually somewhat fun? And yeah i played the halo wars demo and no i also didnt agree with the 6.5 they gave it but then again a lot of the reviews on this site tend to be questionable. Reading th full reviewshelp a lot more then just looking at some silly number.
