I think it takes place right after the last game but I'm not sure. You certainly don't have to play the previous ones to enjoy this. Not at all. The story is completely different. The only thing that carries over from the previous game (again, not sure, but I think) is the relationships you had with the different women. Someone is a direct descendent of the previous couples and you get bonuses if you import a complete save game from the previous game.

I never finished the previous one and didn't get far and that's just fine. The story, as I said before, has nothing to do with the previous ones and you'll be find starting here. And in all honesty, this is the best battle system and graphics to date so I'd start here for sure.

I'm enjoying it, but I know I'm not going to be playing it that much after May 15th (Diablo if you didn't know).  Plus, Guild Wars is coming up too and I doubt this game is going to be compete well for my attention.  In the meantime though, the game is fun.

No, the reviewers are concerned because you can't run and gun like in CoD.  That's why this game is going to get bad reviews.  People want to play easy games nowadays and when something that requires skill comes out, people get antsy.

My code went through (I think) but it didn't work. I still see ads on the site and the members only section of my profile is the same as it was before I entered the code. When I went and tried to re-enter the code thinking maybe it didn't take because of high loads, it just times out or gives me an error. Not sure what I'm supposed to do now.

I recently applied the Giant Bomb code to my account but I'm still seeing ad's on the site, on videos, and when I go to my profile under Member's Only section, it asks me to sign up for a paid account instead of showing me as a premium member. Is there something off with my account?
