Assassin's Creed franchise is proof that an inferior game with inferior, brain-dead easy, linear gameplay, inferior writing and inferior characters can be "successful" with enough $$$ invested into marketing and fake positive reviews that they keep churning out more of the same watered-down rubbish.
It's the art of creating demand and consumerism while offering an inferior product. Todd Howard does the same thing with Oblivion and Skyrim.
Case in point, Gamespot (which has a turned into a complete shill company) plasters an Assassin's Creed on the front page leading me here. Just how heavily is this godforsaken series marketed everywhere creating a false image.
I mean Assassin's Creed is a perfect example of that. Leave it to normies and casuals to "enjoy" this trash series. Horse at a trough.
@Juunana: It matters because new Blizzard games are clearly underfunded and unfinished, while then we hear that these 2 people, TWO (!) people at the top of the company literally hoard all the profit to themselves into their own bank accounts instead of paying developers to properly develop a decent game. WC3 Reforged is a blatant example and evidence of this. Their salary is very significant because it serves to explain why Blizzard games these days are utter trash.

I hope something happens with coronavirus and the markets that completely destroys their stock. Maybe then they'll lose their damn money and once again will be rewarded for creating quality games.

I am having a BLAST playing Darksiders III it polishes and fixes everything that was wrong with the first 2 games. The art direction style and playability is top-notch and it has just the right amount of healthy challenge, while the first two games were awfully easy.

What is with the obsession of doing everything on your phone? One of the reasons I hate my smartphone is because Google is in control of it 100 percent. I have no power over my own device. It basically does what it wants. It has a tiny screen and its inferior to a PC or TV screen. I hate apps, I don't think everything we do in life needs to be through a frikin app. My smartphone makes me sick, I try to avoid using it for anything other than texting and calls. A phone is just a PHONE it's not some ultimate be-all end-all technological marvel that you live your life through.
I bought an Xbox One because my PC couldn't run the Witcher 3.
Then I bought DOOM which was an excellent game.
Then I got Dark Souls 3 which I can't get into because I'm simply not that great with gamepads.
Now I wish that I had simply invested in a new motherboard and CPU.
Consoles whether its Xbox PS or what have you -- are just like Apple products -- limited devices that are marketed well and easy to use for non tech-savvy people... but they are truly inferior to PC's.
