Wow! mine are back today as well! Awesome. I think I'll still archive them but continue using Gamespot. I just noticed a bunch of staff were layed off today as well... Makes me feel kind of bad before making these demands haha

So pre-June 2014 ratings have not been showing up on most/many people's profiles for well over a month now. I myself had at least 150 ratings, likely more. They still exist on the game's page but I cannot see any kind of overview of them. Is this frustrating anyone else? Or is this a problem only shared by a small number of users? Please make yourselves heard if this is a problem you've been having and want it fixed. I thought I'd make one last attempt at getting GS's attention (aside from DigitalDame's) before throwing in the towel and leaving GS for good.

Update: Awesome.. it appears they're back for me... and maybe for everyone?

UPDATE: I'm still waiting to hear from the development team on a global fix for this.

HOWEVER! On the plus side I can manually restore a review (though I they have to be done one at a time and I need to know which game you reviewed). I'll be creating a sticky thread at the top so I can help users get their reviews back. Thanks for hanging in there everyone!

That was 3 weeks ago. The problem is a month old now. Last time this happened I stayed at GS because there was an awesome developer on the forum who actually informed people of what was happening and said there was a plan to fix it in the following few weeks. This time there's been no communication from developers whatsoever. I appreciate that a staff member has tried to help out but honestly it sounds like the devs and her are not even part of the same company. apparently no communication between the two.

Any update here? Have GS developers actually been informed? Problem doesn't seem to just be confined to reviews too... all my counts seemed to be totally bugged. Says I've made 86 forum posts, then only lists the 16 I've actually made.

@The-Apostle: That topic isn't adequately addressing the issue. All or at least the large majority of reviews and ratings for a majority of people have been missing for a little while. The GS staff member is talking about assigning one review at a time to an account.

I've written at least 30 reviews, possibly more, over 200 ratings too.

I've looked at a sample of maybe 10 random(ish) user profiles, linked from reviews they've written. About 6 linked to 0 reviews/ratings, the other 4 had almost all of their reviews/ratings misisng.

I appreciate the effort but it is a waste of time labor restoring them individually. I can google my username + gamespot or look at individual games and see my reviews and ratings still exist, just a matter of fixing the listings on profiles.

Finally, I'm not really sure we need a "games I've finished" stack in addition to "games I've played". Thoughts?

I am already using "Games I've Finished," but I might also use that one because there are games I have played without completing. I say keep both.

Yup definitely keep both. I don't finish every game I play. There are also many games that you can't finish eg. competitive online multiplayer gaming etc.
