@MajorBast They use the same architecture this time around. They both have the same exact CPU, and both are using the same generation of AMD GPU's. The only difference is that the PS4's GPU has 50% more horsepower, and for $100 cheaper. I sincerely hope that people do not support this idea of essentially renting your console and having to get permission to play it each day...
@monson21502 @Bigbird139 I doesn't sound like you know much about PC hardware. The 2 systems have the exact same CPU, and both GPU's are nearly identical, but the PS4's GPU has 50% more horsepower. Plus, the RAM in the PS4 is much faster. So, for $100 cheaper, you would get a much more powerful system with no restrictions if you went with the PS4. I sincerely hope that more people aren't going to support this BS system of allowing Microsoft to dictate whether or not you play YOUR videogame console. Would you call your car dealership everyday and ask permission to drive YOUR car?? Exactly...
@rye96 @Sgt_Tethras It has nothing to do with jumping on the bandwagon. I've vehemently defended the XBox and XBox 360 on Gamespot for about 10 years. But making people get permission from Microsoft everyday to play their games is downright ridiculous...
I just learned about this. I went from high as a kite after the e3 conference to extremely pissed off in a matter of seconds.. I guess that I'm going back to Sony afterall...
If these rumors are true, my house will be filled with Playstation 4's. I am not putting always online devices with video cameras in my childrens' rooms...
