you need to listen to better rap music. not only is 90's rap irrelevant, but there are tons of rap artists (both popular and underground) who don't talk about the gangster life because that simply isnt part of their identity or lifestyle

once you dig a little deeper, you'll find that there are a ton of rappers who rely more on wordplay than basic ABABC rhyme schemes with fantastic beats. when was the last time 50 or eminem was relevant in the rap game?

@Litchie: The kids part is what's scaring me the most these days

I'm not old by any means but life's heading in that direction and:

A) I don't think I could be a father and

B) Holy shit what if i **** this kid's life up?

The pressure is scary man

Well?

as a genre of music it's awfully edgy to the point that it can hardly be taken seriously because of the loud, dark, hilariously angry riffs and lyrics that most people seem to grow out of after adolescence because of the embarrassment

when did you stop listening to metal, OT

this is definitely the largest difference between pope francis and every other pope.

Christianity is a pivotal part in Latin American country and had different experiences wrt the chaplaincy (europeans have different types of denominations of priests, but latin american priests are mostly jesuit i think, and jesuits have much more impact in the community than other types of priests)

Of course Francis is a Latin American and not a European, so his experiences would be different. Specifically he comes from a more religious culture where secularism isn't as strongly entrenched, as he predecessors, and economic poverty is more common (though John Paul II and Benedict XVI probably both experienced poverty growing up, John Paul II was poor if I remember correctly, and Poland certainly has had a lot of poverty, Benedict's roots are probably more working class than poor, but he did need some
