@mah_boi1889 You can tell by the spelling errors who has IQ on Gamespot.

@mah_boi1889 @sun_spirit Well, I may get in trouble for saying this, but there's always been the rumor of bribes around here since Jeff Gerstman left, after reviewing the first Kane and Lynch game. He reviewed it honestly and the game was terrible. Just so happened to be on the day the website was plastered in Kane and Lynch adverts and 'buy it now' links.
Ironically Jeff left Gamespot the same day and there was a huge uproar in the community about his departure. Some say he was fired because the company behind the game (I forget which) that were paying the site for the advertising at the time, made Gamespot give Jeff his dismissal for a bad (yet honest) review of the game. Some say he left on his own accords for the same reason.

It was just mad. I even saw a guy that had an avatar of Gamespot's '9.0 Editor's Choice' image that said 'For Sale' underneath.

But, nobody really knows what happened...

@augmira I couldn't agree more!. Every new feature or game Nintendo come up with is just another 'thing we've seen before' yet, like you stated yourself; so many other games are being made over and over and the same people just lap it up like dehydrated dogs... However, when Nintendo come up with something completely different, or something once amazing, made even better, places like this just give it the ol' hand-wave or have a good bitch about it because of where it came from. This site is too opinionated.

Oh, and to anyone who too the time to read augmira's comment, BLOG IT NOW!!

@rodrigomk388 This is what I don't understand.... Gamespot seem to love picking on Nintendo's announcements as if each and every one is flaw, or some kind of hindrance to their success. It's just the fact that Nintendo know what their fans want. Saying; "Oh, it's another Mario game" is just pathetic and brainless. Of course it's another Mario game!! They talk like gaming's biggest icon character should just go away, as if Nintendo should be through with him...

I'm getting tired of what this site calls 'News'

WTF, Gamespot. Just stop these stupid articles, please!!

"Nintendo fails to this" "Nintendo doesn't meet this expectation" "Nintendo games look the same"

A new announcement for Mario Zelda and Smash bros. is the best thing any Nintendo gamer would want. Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and Brawl were all excellent... Even by your standards GS.

Just give them a fucking chance, Gamespot and have a whinge about Sony for a change? Has anything new happened to the Vita recently? Is it selling very well? Will Sony drop it's price? NO!!! Take a bite out of that and make a news story... (Btw I am a Vita owner and am unimpressed with it's support right now...)

Jesus Christ. Every single week there is a depressing article about Nintendo. Just give it a rest, please...

@Elem187 @sun_spirit I remember the PS3 launch vividly. So many images of empty game stores... The Wii U is basically getting the same. It just takes time. You can't expect it to be amazing from day 1

@jenovaschilld Mario 64 and Pilotwings 64, if you live in America. Look it up.

But, agreed. I don't own a WiiU myself, but a friend has one. He's very impressed with ZombiU and Sonic Transformed. The only problem is, he's completed them now.

Does anyone remember how the N64 had two games at launch? And the PS1, I dunno, like 4... Gamers nowadays are too greedy. Even me myself, I always have to choose what to play as I'm usually playing about 4 games at once.

I miss the days of coming home from school, whacking Mario 64 in and be away for the rest of the night. One game. Good times.
