I am glad I bought it. I have only played an intro game and messed around with the manager/coach mode. I’m having a blast finding good players for my team before the season starts—I think there are some new cut-scenes which add to the overall presentation which FIFA 22 didn’t have.
I bought FIFA 21 on sale, played a couple of games of FIFA 22 on PS Plus and paid full price for 23. I have only played an intro match so the game could be trash. My early impression is I’m enjoying it. I played 4 hours so far and I doubt I’ll regret buying it.
Pretty good review. I like that it wasn’t too long. I especially agree with
“Though these marquee features are by no means small, NBA 2K has long been a series that sweats the small stuff, too. Wildly lifelike player animations, best-in-class commentary, and unmatched broadcast-style presentation all return with impressive added touches.”
I’m only 6 games in so I can’t rate it yet, it hovers around an 8/10. My last NBA 2K game was 2K21. 2K23 plays more realistically and the presentation is better.
I like FIFA 20 a lot. I only have a hour with it. The presentation is really good. I thought they left out franchise mode, but it’s under career and manager.
My first impressions are an 8.5 or 9/10. One factor in making a enjoyable sports game is that it addicts you. And FIFA 20 nearly addicts me with its skill training, presentation, etc. FIFA 17 was my last FIFA game. The upgrade was worth it especially on sale.
Not using mods for either one, the graphics in Fallout 3 weren't very good looking. Fallout New Vegas looked good on the other hand and I liked the different story paths. I was bored of Fallout 3 after 5 hours while I got 74 hours into New Vegas and finished each end story.
I liked New Vegas a lot and it easily beats Fallout 3 for me.
