Why would I be sad WoW isn't dead? What does that have to do with anything? If you want to spend all of your free time obsessing about that carrot at the end of your stick, that is your prerogative. In the time that you have spent on WoW I have probably completed dozens of very enjoyable games.
Ultima Online and Dark Age of Camelot weren't overhyped. They were the pioneers of the massively multiplayer genre and insanely fun. All of the new MMOs follow the same basic formula that WoW has embraced and it is unfortunate because I feel that ingenuity has taken a back seat to "what clearly works" for the masses.
We will see what sort of success Shroud of the Avatar and Camelot Unchained have.
I'm not going to sit around and argue why grinding isn't my idea of gaming. Clearly you think you are having fun grinding away in WoW. You also seem to think longevity directly correlates to the fun factor. I find it kind of amusing how, over time, MMORPG has been shortened to MMO - as the true RPG aspects of these games have disappeared as well.
I feel sad for the WoW lemmings that never had the chance to experience the magic of raiding a player killer's castle with your group of friends or battle out an order v.s. chaos war in the streets of Britain; or even walk into the closest tavern to see other players just sitting around chatting and telling jokes.
Off of the top of my head, MMORPGs that I have played where grinding wasn't the main mechanic were Ultima Online, Dark Age of Camelot, Shadowbane, Star Wars Galaxies and Tabula Rasa.

@eze_sl89 Age of the game has nothing to do with the fun of the game. I still play Diablo 2 and Ultima Online. World of Warcraft is just not fun for me. The formula is not an MMORPG it's a MMOGRIND.
Why is the head on the human so small compared to the body? It looks way out of place. Also, the forearm for the humans and a few of the other models looks very disproportionate. Pretty sad that you can't get it right on a model redesign.
