I imported this from Amazon UK. The D-pad is indeed garbage. Maybe the worst D-pad I've ever used. the sticks are highly sensitive, with little-to-no deadzone. I'm getting some glitching where the controller fails to respond for a split second occasionally. No idea if this is a widespread issue, or if only some controllers have this defect.
A little on the big side, so good for people with medium-to-large hands. Otherwise, it'll be tough to reach the rear buttons.
@jimmypsn We don't know that yet. Sony has had dedicated servers on many of their PS3 games for years now. They could easily do it for COD: Ghosts. The only issue I see would be if Microsoft has some kind of idiotic contract to not allow the PS4 version of Ghosts to tout dedicated servers.
@Tadgerot Fact of the matter is, dedicated servers for a few games are not that hard. Sony had dedicated servers for YEARS, in games such Killzone 2 (2008), Resistance (2006), MAG (2010) and more.
If Sony could do dedicated servers way back in 2006, you know damn well they can easily do it in 2013.
"What Sony can do is this: Convince all PSN users affected by this calamity that the security measures put in place are top notch, and reassure them that if this happens again, there won't be a delay in relaying pertinent information." Um, hasn't Sony already done that? This is in ADDITION to the free games, which is just a bonus. Plus, this "delay" in notifying the public about the possibility of their data being leaked has been debunked by several security experts, analysts, and Sony themselves. Don't write an article full of misinformation if you haven't even read up on all the news and press releases surrounding the issue. Another typical sensationalizing, fear-mongering "journalist."
Sorry, but I don't support anyone who tries to compromise the integrity and security of my favorite gaming system. Piracy = reduced software sales... which ultimately means less developer support and games in the future for the PS3. Hotz's hacking efforts also promote cheating in online games, and this is a huge concern for someone like me who really enjoys multiplayer a lot.
