I think a good argument could be made for both the Wii and Xbox 360.
The Wii was clearly the winner in console hardware sales. The Wii also expanded the market to people that never played video games previously.
Xbox 360 had the biggest impact and was the best at many things; from best multiplats, to greatest controller of all time, to achievements, to indie games, to digital marketplace, to revolutionizing online gaming. Xbox 360 was also the winner in game software sales.
I don't see how the PS3 could possibly be considered the winner. With the PS3, Sony lost over half it's marketshare from the previous gen, while Nintendo and Xbox both significantly increased their marketshare. For that reason alone, I'm sure Sony themselves does not consider it a winner. It also did not have a big impact on gaming and it wasn't the best at anything. Some may say it had the best games and I would definitely agree that it had the best games in the second half of the gen, but it took a long time before those great games started coming out; it's library in the first few years was awful. It also did not win in either hardware or software sales.
