You should have listed what games you've played. I'd recommend Mortal Combat, Mafia II, Halo Combat Evolved Annivesary, Left 4 Dead 2. Played them. Im not listing all the games Ive played because honestly, its way too many to list. So instead you will waste our time? Lol. We need to sticky requirements for game recommendation posts.

Just trying to make a point that Sony is the best and therefore will do cool stuff at the meeting including surprises. I know i will be streaming it live on my Sony Vaio thats made in Japan using either my Sony home theater system, or my awesome $400 Sony headphones.

You are missing out. I mostly buy from amazon and ebay. You would be surprised with some of the deals from brick and mortar stores that beat amazon and ebay. Now Best Buy price matches Amazon as well. I just saw Bulletstorm (used) at best buy for $1.99. GameStop has plenty of good used games selling for like $7 or less. When GameStop has buy 2 get 1 free deal, it beats ebay and amazon.
There's a mom n pop shop by me that has buy 2 get 1 free every day. The prices their are just as good if not better than Gamestop on used games. I got Mafia 2, Vanquished and Splinter Cell conviction for $20.00.... $10.00 more but better games!
Don't let my title mislead you, I didn't go around taking surveys around the world ha! 10 of my friends which all camped out for PS3's during it's launch have all agreed to not do it again. Aside the sleepless nights and camper craziness, they feel they will wait atleast 1 year until purchasing. I've never purchased anything on release day, but will be doing so for the PS4. I find the psych behind all this pretty weird and strange. Any of you guys purchase the PS3 day one and will be doing the same for the PS4?

I didn't buy the PS3 day one but I am planning on purchasing it as well as the Nextbox as soon I see them available (or available for pre order). Funds are just currently better for me now than they were in 2006. Obviously if there are not any good games (or games coming) or the system doesn't look good I may change my mind, but I fully expect to drop $500+ per console whenever they become available.
