Video games are just plain awesome in their own way... people see them as socially stunting but truth is you find one person who plays games and as long as their friends arn't A**holes you pretty much inherit all their gaming friends as well. Few things beat a room full of guitar hero and super smash bros fans dueling it out on big screens. Another reason why I lovve gaming is that I have yet to find something truly as fulfilling as completing a great game, the sense of accomplishment, the entertainment of seeing an end to a story which has moved you in some sort of way, and the bragging rights if you know other fans :P

I played the hell out of Tekken 2 when it came with my playstation... I just wanted to keep on fighting and it let me keep on going... I also really enjoyed a metal gear solid demo which came with playstation underground... hearing everyone talk in japanese was hilarious, choking the guards following my footsteps in the snow was even better!

It would also be fun to hear about any wannabe fans who have some odd obsession with something they have hardly even played :P

I have met more gamers than I can count who say they are hardcore, I will give them that. But since all hardcore gamers are diehard fans of something why does everyone of them watch everything they possibly can on youtube about their favorite games and act like they love it so much... when they only bothered to play it through once or even only halfway(I am looking at all the RPG freaks in particular for this one). I know almost anyone here can relate to this particular scenario. You meet a person who absolutely loves final fantasy 7 but they never even left Midgar.. or got passed the first disc.. yet they know the entire story line because they Youtube'd every cutscene and Wikipedia'd all of the story/characters. I personally have never done this and I find it to be pathetic and also a disservice to great games. I now find myself wondering if they are truly bigger fans than those who spent more time playing and beating everything and unlocking everything and sadly, probably ended up spending less time than those who spent their time reading crap about characters in fansites and getting the games info from all that other crap. If so what are the boundaries between wannabe fan and a true fan of a game or series?

Hahahaha I must say the save points, difficulty(getting knocked down), and camera sins are hilarious. It is even better that you put this out with Ninja Gaiden 2 being recently released, do I see a coincidence?

just make 3 games online... Nintendo can;t screw up what they make but they need whatever they possibly think of to be made solely for the internet... I don't care it was even Wii Play 2: Online, Wii Sports 2: Online and Super Mario Anthology online Coop it would be nice to just have online anonymous matchmaking and continue on with its FC sucking at this point!

(those 3 were hypothetical examples, absolutely nothing about them is real unless by coincidence)

Coming from a WoW player I say only get it if you have friends to play with (real life ones) trust me you will have a lot to talk about everytime you see eachother especially if you get into PvP. Also buy it if you can resist not naming your character after something from naruto, unless you enjoy flagging yourself as someone not to invite to a party :P
