Hi, I just brought Prototype 2 PC on Steam and while the game loads up fine, it gets stuck on the loading screen after the two intro videos. I have verified my cache already so all the files are there. Has anyone else had this problem? Strangely, the original Prototype runs perfectly fine for me.

Crysis 2. looks great, but graphics don't always make a game. It was ok. Also couldnt get proper AA working on this game. Shots are2048 by 1280 with Maldo's Texture mod, particle fx, cmod, The Realness, and Quality 1.8

Metroid Prime. Haven't played it in 10 years

For Crysis 2, can you link me to the mods that you used? I know Maldo already but I'm not familiar with the other ones.

All the mods are listed here

hope that helps :)

Nice, thanks for the info! Now to reinstall Crysis 2! =)

Dude, did you really have to open this can of worms? I highly advise you not to post your opinion on the BioWare forums. Thankfully, everyone here is not flaming you but your opinion of not minding the ending will be jumped upon by all those who hate it and they will outright say you are wrong, which is impossible since it is an opinion. For the record, I don't mind the ending either but there are plot holes which I hope the extended cut DLC will fix. Other than that, my feelings are mixed but I don't think its the disaster everyone makes it out to be...but I keep my opinions to myself for the most part.

I haven't really had any problems with GFWL but it is such an annoying and pointless service when you think about it. You have to log into steam or where ever you bought it from, then log into GFWL plus why let us see which xbox friends are online if we can't do cross platform play or allow us to recieve messages from someone on xbox if we can't respond to it on pc?

You can receive messages from people on Xbox, I have friends from Xbox Live who can message me just fine.

Why is this such a huge problem? You know, not everyone has problems with GFW Live. I'm not saying there are NO problems but I feel like much of the hate seems to stem from people jumping on the bandwagon. I will support this game on PC...if everyone decides not to buy or pirate this game because they hate GFW Live, at least From Software will know that they made 50 bucks off me. Besides, this isn't Origin (which I also have no problem with), many GFW Live games appear on Steam but not the other way around. The all or nothing mentality is really sickening, if ONE part is bad, then the WHOLE thing is bad. You don't always get what you want in life, sometimes you have to compromise...to have this game on PC is already in amazing feat and I'm not going to sit around complaining. What I will be doing is pre-ordering.

Besides, the whole reason GFW Live is being used seems to point to the fact that it is a port of the Xbox 360 version. Since both services are essentially the same, the amount of effort porting the online component won't be as messy.

What the pre-downloader does is download the files in 300 MB chunks so you can cancel and resume every 300 MB. I'm downloading right now...97 Kb/sec! Basic DSL for the win! =P

I've actually beaten the game and I'm on my second playthrough. Personally, I haven't really taken part on the whole change the ending campaign but I am heavily invested in the series. Like most people, I was confused and disappointed with the ending but more of the former. After letting it simmer, I saw it as more of an ambiguous ending that is common in sci-fi stories such as 2001 A Space Odyssey where it is left up to the audience to interpret what happened. The idea of a Pyrrhic victory is also a common trope in science fiction so yes, I'm one of the few (probably the ONLY person) that's not bothered by the ending but I will admit that its rushed and has a HUGE plot hole that you can't help but noticing. However, I feel asking BioWare to change it is wrong. I know, I'm the customer, I should demand better but ultimately, this is BioWare's story, we may control how it proceeds but not how it ends. I mean, I've dealt with my fair share of bad endings before (I review films as a hobby) so this is nothing new but I would never demand for a new ending no matter how bad it is. I will acknowledge it and that is it. If you hate the ME3 ending, well, you are free to do so. If you want a new ending, you can demand for one, just don't count me among them. If BioWare changes the ending, that is up to them as well. However, I love the ME series and I'm not gonna let the thousands of people protesting prevent me from enjoying the game. As for the charity, people really need to learn how to read, that's all I have to say on that topic. The cause is great, however the people donating, some of them are certainly not doing it for altruistic reasons.

Yea get the Missing Link, depending on how you play, you get an extra 8 hours of game time, I mean, that's more than what you get from a CoD game. The Hitman and Tomb Raider series are all pretty good as well although its a shame Hitman Contracts isn't there.
