It didn't change anything. You can't be a self-proclaimed rebel if the entire media-manufactured zeitgeist is on your side, you are absolutely delusional if you think you are. You should be ashamed fo...

Why not blame both the shitty practice and suckers that buy into them

They're pretty important I guess. I don't play games under 60 with some exceptions.

It does look different in a bad way but it deserves the benefit of the doubt considering how good of a reinvention RE4 was.

@Neo_Sarevok: Intentionally or not (it really doesn't matter) those games looked far more realistic and dark

  • SovietsUnited posted a message in the forum topic The Quake Trilogy - Your Absolute Favorite of the Three. on the Games Discussion board

Quake 1 is my favorite of the three, but the most accomplished has to be Quake 3. It's probably the greatest competitive video game of all time, with the highest skill ceiling ever.

  • SovietsUnited posted a message in the forum topic When did video games start to suck so bad?. on the Games Discussion board

@madrocketeer said:*skyrim trailer quotes*That trailer really is incredible. In fact, it's so good that it's arguably one of the main reasons for Skyrim's success.

  • SovietsUnited posted a message in the forum topic What the heck is "gaminess"??. on the Games Discussion board

It irritates me to no end every single time I read it in a game review. It's a horrible shorthand, especially when a reviewer calls out something as "too gamey".
