@joshrmeyer: I imagine that before long, they'll have some way for drones to dock with the house and leave packages in a secure location that way. New homes will have "drone docks" as an option, and there will probably be no shortage of contractors who will be more than happy to retrofit one to an existing house. Now that I think about it, I have to admit it sounds great.

I understand that nearly all homes have locks that are easy to defeat by someone with the proper knowledge, but trusting entire organizations with easy entry to your home--and relying on technology on top of it, which is literally NEVER done right--is absolutely punch-in-the-face insane. And for $250, you could buy a shed for them to put your packages in, ffs.

This article was about a guy who spent $30,000 on a crowdfunding project. My point was that the whole concept of how these projects operate is a joke. And yes, people are scumbags. That's why it's a joke.

I'm sorry you have reading comprehension issues. Next time, I suggest at least trying to address the point being made rather than attacking the person like a child. Just a thought.

If I live to be 1,000,000, I will N-E-V-E-R throw my money into this kind of crap. I've been burned way too many times in all sorts of transactions that vary from the "You give me this, I give you that finished product you see there. Done." retail design. From liars who just soak up the money and then disappear, to liars who claim they never got the money, developers who take donations and then decide to make the software freeware, and every type of scummery in between, people love proving how humankind was a mistake. Make the damned software, then give me the option to buy it. If you can't make it up front, find a new profession. I'm so sick of so many titles being betaware, bugware, and vaporware.

Looks 98% exactly like the Clayface fight in Batman: Arkham Asylum. So much so I'm assuming it's the same engine, etc. with a different clown suit thrown on top.

RE: Steam badges/cards/whatever the hell they're called... I've seen them, but I ignore them. I have no idea what they are, and I can't be bothered to find out.
