I don't mind under water levels all that much. Even though lava levels aren't like under water levels, those tend to be the levels I die the most in.

I got a friend who is gonna let me borrow his DC games, I'll post what he has as soon as I get them. (Well, he doesn't know he's gonna let me borrow them yet, thats why it may take some time.)

Heck, a few Gamestops near me are clearing out their PS2 stock. Every PS2 game was $5 or less. As for the high price, it's simple. Obviously people are paying those prices for those games or the prices would be lower.

Dead Space 2, Killzone 3, FEAR 3, and Uncharted 3. Hmmm.... 2011 looks to be the year of 3's.

I got a Dreamcast with Sonic Adventures and Sega GT as well as a PS1 with Xenogears, Gran Turismo 2, Resident Evil 3, and a couple of old basketball games. Also got a SNES with 10 games. Not a bad haul this year.

Thats what kept me from enjoying the game on the PS2, the absolute control nightmare. I felt lie I couldn't do anything. So, would you say the controls are better for the DC?

Death on all members in Shin Megami Tensei titles...

I forgot about that. I especially hate it when it happens to the main character in the Persona series.

I've been playing Xenosaga and it feels like enemies can give you everything from slow to the common cold (it's a joke, I'm not that stupid). So whats the worst ailments that those pesky enemies can inflict? My least favorites are poison and zombie. Poison always seems to get me when I have no antidotes on hand. A quick game over and yell of frustration cements my hatred of the poison ailment. Now zombie seemed to kick me in the teeth all the time at the end of FFX. It was more of an annoyance than an issue though.

I think if you use a professional review and a user review together, than you can get a pretty good idea of how the game is. Even preofessional reviewers have bias and even if they don't admit it, that does play a part in their reviews. I write a lot of reviews (not on here) and most people that read them tell me I do a good job and give accurate scores. So the issue is finding good reviewers, those who put aside the hype and price of the game and tell it like it is. Unfortunatly there aren't many people out there who do that, or they suffer from fanboy syndrome.
