Funny, for a gaming news site to not report even a squeak about the Boomstick Gaming controversy seems a bit odd? Must have been far too busy double-checking reviews. ;-)

@TEFUKAM: Will that also apply to Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI when they only launch on Bnet?

This is not a convincing argument on the basis of exclusives. and I have an Xbox. (ok, Ashen sounds interesting). In my view, the Xbox is the better machine to use. I picked up a cheap PS4 for the PS4 exclusives, everything else I play on the Xbox.

Sure, Andromeda had its issues. Mass Effect 3 was awesome, though with a controversial ending, and Inquisition was consensus GOTY (in a weaker year for games) so 3 stinkers? No.

But it's fun to mock when that's not actually accurate... ok. :-/

@Xylymphydyte: We'll have to see, won't we. We do know that cosmetics-only MTX's will be purchasable (or grindable). If needing a pink Ranger skin is going to corrupt your game's integrity, well that's down to you. I'm not sure where you get 'poor recent track record' from. Microtransactions have been restricted to the multiplayers of Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age Inquisition and Mass Effect Andromeda. None were essential purchases and most players just played the game and got chests through in-game currency.

@nibbin1191: Anthem looks like a lot of fun. I have high anticipation for it. Perhaps this new Star Wars game will learn from it. Also, I'm pretty sure Motive includes many of the Montreal team from Mass Effect Andromeda, so they can bring what they learned to the game as well.
