Thanks for the help guys. I was thinking about getting a 850 Thermaltake, it's on sale at best buy. I hate best buy but I want to get the PSU today and not have to wait for it. That should be good right?
Hey guys, I just finished putting together a semi-new pc. Everything is new except for the power supply and motherboard. When I turn on the PC it everything turns on, all the fans spin, and then 1-4 seconds later in shuts off before showing anything on the monitor. I've tried the old RAM, old Processor, Old Video Card, I've taken the motherboard back out to make sure all the standoffs were in correctly, I'm thinking it could be the power supply but wanted to check all other possibilites before I go drop $180 on a new PSU. Specs: Cooler Master HAF 932 Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe Motherboard EVGA Geforce GTX 275 Video Card 4GB DDR2 Crucial Ballistix Tracer RAM AMD Phenom x4 955 black edition CPU Western Digital Velociraptor 150 GB Hard Drive Thanks for the help guys.
So I think this thread might be locked down but I thought maybe due to how specific my question is it might not be. Anyways.. I want to spend 5 bucks on something new in the PSN store but can't decide what to get. I'll take any suggestions just wondering what people think gives you the most bang for your buck. The only game I have that has addons is RE5 so other than that don't recommend any other additional content. Thanks guys.
I got a Nvidia 8600 GTS card for christmas and decided to use the "Step-up" program to get a 8800gt. I then went and ordered another 8800gt off of newegg, planning doing SLI. My problem is that I just realized that the card i upgraded to is 512MB VRAM and the card I bought is 256MB VRAM. Will they still be capable of SLI?
