@sephirothsfan02 I disagree. The majority didn't like the plot or the over-the-top characters (compared to FFX), but the job and battle system are generally considered one of the best in the series (especially the battle system).

Agreed, especially against a volley of shots from about 5 metres away. Even if it didn't penetrate your human shield, the force of it would have Connor flat on his back with a corpse on top of him.

It's amazing to think that even if WoW keeps dropping 1 million subs every 6 months (which is doubtful), they've still got almost 5 years left before it actually dies.

Wow, the first time we've seen Patriots as the enemy. Ubisoft said there would be enemies on both sides but, judging from all the previous trailers and gameplay footage, it looked like you were just out to kill Redcoats and the British. Good to see.

GW2 won't die in 6 months, and I'd take that to the bank. Like GW1, it's in a different league to WoW. I'm not saying either is better, just that they can co-exist reasonably peacefully. With no sub and no gear grind, people can come and go from GW2 at their leisure without any penalties. Just like a single-player RPG, it's always there to go back to if you want to do something else for a while. There will be more than enough of a permanent population, plus the MMO rovers that swich around and the people that want a bit of a break from WoW.

These games aren't actually made by Paradox, just published by them. Their internal development studio will keep pumping out the highly-complex grand strategy games like Crusader Kings, Victoria and Hearts of Iron that they're famous for (or great at).

For me, TSW needed to be released 6 months ago. As it is now, GW2 is less than 2 months away and I've already dropped my money for it. This looks really interesting, and I'm happy to see another MMO break away from the EQ/WoW formula (with TERA and GW2). Hopefully innovation is the new thing in MMOs. We can only hope.

Australia agrees with you 100%. Bandwidth caps and digital-only gaming won't work together.

Guild Wars 1 has had a cash shop for at least 5 years and has never released anything that is 'Pay To Win'. ANet already know how to do a cash shop, they won't stuff it up (and from what we've seen in the Beta, they haven't).

There's another Beta Weekend from July 20-22, just in case we need that GW2 fix before it releases in 2 months.
