I never saw Total War games as historically accurate... just fun to play.

That was a great trailer.
[QUOTE="ZippySlappy"][QUOTE="MarioRPGer"] probably the G.O.A.T. blogomho88Nope. What was he talking about in his last blog?I don't know, but I read the last topic he posted... it was in ask the mods, and something about calling Bayonetta the "s" word (iirc)... that might have been the cause of the banning.
Whelp, time to suicide. Who's in?!PatchMasterYou go first, I'll follow. ;)
That, and they ban good posters from time to time... like today for example.
Make post, space it out, post. HTML ERROR, ALL FORMATTING RUINED.
Make post, goes to blank page, need to go back, then the thread does not tag as if you posted in it.
The simple fact is that piracy has no effect on sales. I'll be waiting for someone comes up with some hard evidence to the contrary.
As for sales, hard evidence doesn't exist either way. But it is undeniable that it is affecting the decisions of game makers. Wouldn't you be sore if you saw something you worked on for years of your life being ripped off by thousands? Wrong or right, they're worried, and they're not about to listen to a bunch of thieves telling them that it isn't a concern.
I don't see how this piracy is still even a debate. It's stealing. Unless you're starving or sick, you really don't need to do it. I'm so tired of hearing these pathetic justifications for dishonest, immature behavior that stems from an overblown sense of entitlement. They're moving to consoles because it is more lucrative, more people have game consoles than gaming PCs. They're easier to develop on too because of the closed platform design (all the controls and hardware are the same.) Piracy exists on consoles as well. They're using PC piracy as a scapegoat. It seems ridiculous that they'd do such a thing, but look at the backlash developers receive from the PC community every time a PC exclusive goes multi platform. Can you blame them?Maybe that's true, but it still doesn't give anyone an excuse to pirate anything. Unless, you think it's "not worth the money" to pay for a "consolized" game or something, but even then, I don't want to play ****, so I don't buy ****, it's pretty simple. If pirates are really uninterested in so many games, why do they download them in the first place?
People like to think that Pirates would NEVER buy a game, but imagine if piracy was some how made impossible... I bet a lot of those people would start buying some games.
