Console vs Console - "LOL, PS4 is 1080p and Xbox One is only 900p! Stupid Xbox LMFAO, PS4 OWNZZZZ, the graphics are so much better on PS4, mah gddr5!"
Console vs Console part 2 - "LOL, PS4 gets 60 fps and Xbox One is only getting 45! LOLOLOLOL, stupid Xbots!"
Same console gamer vs PC running same port at 1080p-1440p and 60-144fps with all kinds of additional lighting and post processing effects, higher resolution textures, higher quality shadows, more & better looking antialiasing - "Stupid graphics whore PC gamers, graphics don't count, its the gameplay that matters! Hmph! Virgins! That game sucks anyway, you can have it...good luck playing TLOU on your $10,000 PC! LMFAO!"
System Wars in a nutshell.
Some things never change... strange that the so-called PC "Master Race" is described as some sort of new thing in the thread -- that idea has been around for quite some time.
Does Fallout 3 have problems on Windows 7? I ask mainly because it says on steam "Fallout 3 is not optimized for Windows 7"... not very interested in the game if it doesn't run well/has a bunch of problems.
All the Call of Duty games that came after the original just feel wrong... haven't really enjoyed one since the first. I mean, I'll be honest, I only get to play these new ones whenever I hang out with someone who bought one, but my interest only lasts about .5 seconds. I could care less how many people play it - I just have more fun taking a **** or brushing my teeth, so I never really considered spending the money on one of these new games (I gave 2 a chance because I enjoyed the first; bought 3 because I was an idiot; and I got #4 because of the hype...but I don't have the money or time to waste on this stuff anymore). Somehow, I doubt MW3 will be any different. It's the same engine (how many years later?)... the game just looks the same as 4 to me.
Hey, guys. It seems that my 8800GTS finally died out, so I'm in need of a new graphics card. I don't really feel like spending a fortune on something fancy, and I was happy with the 8800, so I'm wondering if you guys know of a "modern" replacement for the 8800 - something just as good, if not better, but not too pricey.
What version of the 8800GTS did you had?
One of the two original ones 320 and 640 VRAM or the revised chip one 512VRAM?
Because I remember that the 8800GT was more powerful than the first two but slightly weaker than the last one.
Oh yeah, it was the GT, sorry about that... it's been forever.
