@Darknight765 I don't know, pretty much the same way Activision does it with Call of Duty, EA does it with all the sports games, and Microsoft does it with Halo.
If only Pikmin 3 had guns, it would have sold 10 times more. In all seriousness though, it's sad how the video game industry is now. It seems like if a game isn't violent (with blood and gore) or doesn't have guns in it then it isn't considered "hardcore" and nobody wants to play it. SMH, oh well. Hopefully games like Super Smash Bros, Windwaker, and some others pick it up.
