Sega Dreamcast.

For the simple fact I had more fun playing that system than I have on any other overall thus far.

With games like Shenmue, Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Jet Set (Grind) Radio, Capcom vs. SNK, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Resident Evil 2, Crazy Taxi, Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles, and Power Stone... There were just countless hours of time spent loving life.

A close second would be my X360.

It is absolutely NOT worth it to get the 8gb model.

One of the first system updates released took up 4gb of space. There goes half your HDD space if you own an 8gb.

Why is that a big deal? Your basically only going to be able to hold 1 digital full sized Wii game on that HDD after that.

Unless you get the release of Metroid Prime Trilogy (Which you should) Which was a Dual Layer game and takes up over 7gb of space.) You won't be able to hold that at all.

32 GB will serve you well.

I agree with some, and disagree with other points of your post.

What I do agree with is making an informed decision when buying a game. There is way too many games being developed that are sub-par and a big part of that fault falls on the gamers who pre-order these particularly bad games before they have any information on how the game actually plays.

What I do not agree with however, is the notion that pre-ordering all games is bad. Personally I pre-order the vast majority of the games I buy, but in keeping with making informed decisions, I never do so blindly.

Every game I pre-order I have watched numerous gameplay videos, and impressions from critics. If you have played as many games as I have it's easy to spot a game with poor production values from just 10 minutes of gameplay footage.

Another thing I find to be an excellent reason for pre-ordering is the physical bonuses that sometimes come with games. For example, hard-cover art books, figures, or other unique trinkets. I'm not a fan of DLC as a pre-order bonus, that is not one I directly support, and encourage others not to do so either.

That being said, you also won't ever see me spending double the amount of a game for a figurine. That's just lunacy.

If you are into Gran Turismo, PS3 is really your only option for that series. However, Forza is a worthy rival to that series on Xbox as well.

Personally I feel like Sonic has a better enviornment on X360. The controller is slightly reminiscant of the Dreamcast one if you are used to that at all.

Both are honestly great systems. I think it would boil down to which exclusive games you enjoy more.

Hello everyone.

I've been a gamer for as long as I can remember. My very first memory is playing Super Mario Bros. on the NES with my older brother while I was still in diapers back in 1990. (I still always play as Luigi.)

I've been around on this site and a few others for a long time, though not very active. However, over the last while I have unified my online persona under the name "SkyHighGam3r" and am going to attempt to contribute things I find of interest in the gaming community.

I have no goals of online fame or anything like that, simply a desire to share my thoughts and contributions with everyone, and hopefully meet some like-minded people along the way.

I intend to eventually create a blog of reviews and posts regarding announcements at conferences such as E3 or the GDC. As well as host a youtube channel for some gameplay videos and things of the like. Really anything and everything gaming related that I feel should be shared.

I've set a lot of this up and am ready to begin with a number of SkyHighGam3r projects, but as I'm now formally trying to contribute to our larger gaming community as a whole for the first time, I wanted to know if anyone who has made videos, reviews, etc. had any suggestions for someone who is going to be doing many of these things for the first time.

These are older reviews I wrote a few years ago simply for fun and to see what I could do with the idea.
