Whoever the owner is, just please push for a re-release on Steam and GOG.

@ziproy The company that Gearbox palmed the game off on so it could be pushed out the door in some sort of finished state? You know, so Sega would actually get the game they had been paying Gearbox to develop for four odd years?

Gearbox entirely ****ed up that project, not TimeGate.

Sorry to hear it TimeGate seemed like good devs and Section 8 Prejudice was a damn good multiplayer game.

Well said. It's antiquated, I'm surprised people justify it still.

@avengerb @ColdfireTrilogy Sins is in realtime, and for that reason alone it is deliberately streamlined, designed around multiplayer and inter-player interaction. For that reason it's utterly brilliant at what it was.

It isn't a successor to Galactic Civ 2 in the slightest.

The problem is that in many respects it isn't 'authentic'. Both of the guys have different ideas on what defines 'authenticity' in depicting servicemen, armed combat and war.

That was a pretty damn good video, I'm impressed that there's a genuinely critical discussion here between the two. That in itself is fantastic.

Both of the guys have good points. MoH originally did honour American servicemen; and it was very much slanted form that angle, though it was never a realistic depiction of war and certainly did glamorise this side of it - just as the recent MoH titles have (as far as I can tell). However it's an action game it's not ArmA (or other complex strategy games, milisims, past tactical shooters); and it's skewed in telling the soldiers tale from this action direction.

The biggest problem is the way the word 'fun' is thrown around. ArmA is fun, RO2 certainly is fun; it's a matter of market and audience. MoH is an blockbuster action title, as it always has been - fun itself is relative to the individual, and that's a game that will reach a wider audience.
