I have an Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 graphics card. But the problem is when I tried to use an OpenGL program, it doesn't go as fast as it used to. Can someone give me or tell me where I can download drivers for OpenGL or something?

One day, my brother and I were about to a PC game disc into our computer. When it was about to initialize, it stopped loading about half-way through. To make sure nothing was wrong, we waited for about 20 minutes. After that the computer still did not move so we removed the disc, shut the computer down, and turned it back on again. But when it came back on it displayed this message "A problem has occurred and Windows did not start properly" or something like that. Then they give you the options on how you want to use the computer (Safe Mode, Last known good configuaration, start windows normally.) Now I've encountered this screen before so I didn't think it was that big a deal. But when I chose start windows normally, it began to load and then flashed a blue screen for litterally 2 seconds and the computer restarted itself. When I tried to choose safe mode, it merely began to start up but then restarted again back to the Dell loading screen. I ran a diagnostics test, but nothing seemed to be wrong. I can't even use the computer to find out what the problem is. Can someone please help me out here?

I have a problem with my computer that has serious urgency. On my mom's computer, when she logged on one day, her background was gone, a lot of her options were gone, and the computer won't remember any options and change back as soon as I exit the window. When I try to change the security options on the computer they change back to their original place and do nothing. Her ActiveX controls don't work either. Can someone please help me out?

Gears of War: I was shooting some of the locusts in co-op with one of my friends. When we were killed my friend was suddenly alive again but he was trapped in mid-air spasming. We were stuck like that until we got sick of it and pushed the reset button.

Yet another problem has reared its ugly head upon my desktop. After my previous post and following the direction of the person who responded; my computer is back in business! Now for some unknown reason, there is no sound on my computer. Originally my sound provider was SoundMax Digital Audio; now it says Multimedia Audio Controller. When I try to find drivers for it, it still has yet to create any sound for my computer.  As an aspiring digital artist slowing growing with skill, my computer is a large priority for me right now.Can someone else help me out here?

At first my computer acted completely fine. Then over time it began to perform less and less proficiently. Suddenly, it began to move exceptionally slower than a normal computer. Sure, i've tried everything: scanning for viruses countless times, removing PUP's, making extra hard-disk space by deleting unwanted programs I downloaded, the whole sha-bang. So it boiled down to when my me and my brother decided to use the re-installation disk to repair any software issues that may have surfaced in the time we've had the computer. Unfortunately, after using the disk and waiting for the computer to restart, the computer screen turns black after the Windows XP loading screen with the blue loading bar underneath the logo. After that point the screen turns black and stays that way. Can someone please help me out here?

This idea would be excellent for the unions. I can't wait to see it go into execution.
