Some of these comment have worthwhile criticism, but so many other are full of inane whining. What happened to the days where playing the game was the point of playing the game - not climbing a ladder in pursuit if various imaginaries?
For my part, I'm relieved that the game feels good, feels like halo, and remains a blast to play. 343 deserves credit for walking the thin line between the legacy and the modern.
Harmful distractions that end alienating more from true concerns of equality than helping to get everyone on board with the serious, real world issues of gender/ race, etc. discrimination and bias.
Not being pieces of shit to their employees and forcing them to feel like total douches by busting their balls if they don’t push enough of their anti-consumer bullshit would be a start. GameStop should die and i’m Very happy to see the writing on the wall, and see them totally misinterpret it.
@kaminobenimizu: the Xbox one controller is fine. This generation has the best controller ever. I have been using both a DS4 and a XB1 controller for years and they both remain in good shape. The exception to this would be the problems with the DS4 sticks disintegrating in the console's early days, bot fortunately they fixed that
Looks like a fun way for parents to spend time with their kids in a way that’s a compromise between “good ol days” low tech craft projects and the high tech stuff that kids want. If it gets families off the couch and engages them in a cooperative and interactive task while still being trendy enough for playground excitement, I’m all for it. If you are reading this article, Labo is most likely not meant for you.
