@Superzone Because it's Big Boss, not Solid Snake. From what I've heard, they're using Richard Doyle as the voice actor. It's tying in to how he sounded like in MGS4.

@MGSFAN612 @Morphine_OD I think a good explanation for the voice change would be the 10 year coma, or the thing that put Big Boss in the coma. Either way, I think the voice change is expected when it's Big Boss.

@ChaosUndivided @grey_fox1984 It's a big time jump. This game takes place after Peacewalker, and Peacewalker was 10 years after Snake Eater. Big Boss already had his falling out with Zero and started his own PMC.
