Remember, guys. An 8 is a "great" game on our scale, so an 8.5 is a really great game. There's nothing flop about it. It's just not "superb" as a 9 would be.

As for those wondering the differences between console versions, there really are none. You could dissect screens with a magnifying glass if you wanted to, but what's the point? That time would be better spent installing a new graphics card on your PC so you can play the best version ;).

Yeah I have a question about the map editor between the PS3 and the 360 as well as the PC. Are they all equal or is the PC superior to the consol editors?
Also, is the 36 0 map editor somewhat limited compared to the PS3 because of MS's restrictions?
The PC map editor has a few more features in there, but the biggest difference is the interface; using a mouse pointer to build your level is so much easier than using a controller. There didn't seem to be a difference between the 360 and PS3 editors.
[QUOTE="shaunmc"]Hi dude, I have one question. If you get shot at, do you have to remove every single bullet each time an injury appears from the direction you're shot?Hey dudes. I wrote the review on this one. If you've got any questions, feel free to ask.

It's only when your health gets really low when you do the self-heal animations. It's not every time you get shot. But they are cool. You can cauterize your own wound with a bundle of matches!
I am concerned about the traveling and the feeling of restlessness and boredom .... how bad is it exactly ? I am very impatient.

Traveling around definitely becomes tedious after a while, especially when you have dudes shooting at you all the time. There's a bus system that lets you fast travel to five or six set spots on the map, but they're spaced really far apart. It helps to just take your time, not rush yourself, and really take in the scenery.

- Is it realistic so you can you run over a lion and break its legs off?
- Can you set zebras on fire?
- What's the multiplayer like really? Everyone keeps praising the map editor, but it doesn't really matter if the rest of the multiplayer is a bit ass does it?
- How does the difficulty affect the AI? Do they just become more accurate and more efficient bullet sponges or do they actually behave differently somehow? Can you change the difficulty at will, and in case you can't, which difficulty would you recommend?
- How many bolts were used for the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge?
No, but you will run over a lot of animals. They like to jump in front of your car for some reason.
No, believe me, I tried.
Multiplayer isn't terribly special on its own, but the map editor makes it really cool because that same feeling of exploration you get in the game is preserved because you've always got new maps coming your way.
AI doesn't appear to get much better at higher difficulty. It seems like mostly an HP thing on your part. You can change the difficulty any time you want in the game, you don't have to start a new campaign.
Eleventy bajillion.

Is anyone even paying attention to the word under the 7.0? It says "good." We're calling it a good game. OMG THEY HATE TEH BLOOM BOX!
Really, now.
The Gamespot editorial guys seem to absolutely love this game, so I don't see it scoring below an 8.0. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 9.0, in all honesty, though I think that's the absolute highest it could get. From what I understand, it's just a really fun, quality game with only a few issues that might detract from the fun. This kind of game usually scores pretty high at GS.JordanElek
This is true. We play Mario Kart DS every single day at 2:30, 10 races most of the week, 15 races on Fridays. The amount of codewords we've invented for every possible situation in that game is astounding.
