I loved the older conflict games, but now it's an FPS and they've halved the man power? Sounds a bit odd to me, I am not as excited for this as I was.

You don't have to be old to appreciate good music, Brambler. Bands like The Who are timeless, and despite being 19 I am well versed in their music and they were one of the bands that sealed the deal for me. As for Grateful Dead, I had never heard of them. Were they an American thing? Either way, I will be trying to get a hold of some of their stuff so I can listen, I hope it's good.

Agreed, adverts that work in the setting of a game are fine by me.

WoWoWooooo....Pat Benatar. That's new. Ace, and I'm glad a demo is coming, I can't wait to get my hands on even the smallest section of this game.

I wouldn't be supprised. 2K obviously started work on a PS3 version when it was slated for "next gen consoles", maybe they are still working on it. Still, it would more than likely be 6 months down the line, just to satisfy MS's exclusivity deal.

This is what I've been waiting for. The GH3 song list has been growing and growing by the week for some time, and I was waiting for Rock Band to announce some songs to combat it....which they have. Some great additions, hopefully "early 2008" means really early...like, January 1st. =P

I'm a fan of MCR, I like their music and although most people seem to say negative things about them I think they have some great guitar in their songs and I'm glad to have this pack. I was secretly hoping for their stuff in Rock Band though, I would have prefered to have had the drums and vocals to do too.

Saying that the retail price is going to be that high is a little bit callous, I mean EA/Harmonix/MTV know enough to know they will have to offer all sorts of different bundles for different people. They have said many times that they don't expect everyone to buy every instrument, because that's not how it would work in a real band, so I am sure they will be offering single instrument bundles. ...as for the delay. Who knows, seems up in the air to me at the moment. Charles Huang is just speaking from experience here, not from knowledge.
