Totally agreed, seems that R* knew that GTA IV was gonna be a letdown for us PC users, because of its many said bugs and that crazy requirements. Also, they are so "cool" that they admit that they knew that GTA IV couldnt run properly (or on high deatil) in any hardware available today, they "thinked in future technologys".

COME ON!!!! what a lame excuse, hows that they qere thinking in the future??? In which kind of machines they tested the game?? What version of the game they gave to the games webs that they give 9 to the game???

I know that i went off topic, sorry but this GTA think pisses me off.

Agreed that the crap that GTA IV came to be pulled up Fallout 3. However, Fallout 3 its a great game on its own, has great graphics, of course those arent revoilutionary graphics but for me are great, and a game its more than graphics. Im a bit tired of seen games with marvelous graphics but extremly bad performance, story, bugs, playability.

Fallout 3, keeps the escense of the previous games and even when the story isnt the best that ive seen, its really good and the world of the Capital Wasteland its terrific!

Also you could try to take your disc to a friends home and make an ISO of the disk, burn it on another dvd and try then to install in your pc, and you have your back up disk.

It happens from time to time with dvd drives, it a very random stuff.
