if nvidia cards are so good compared to ati cards, why has the price for the gtx280 dropeed by $200 in the last month?

this article fails to do tests at other resolutions(especially 2560x1600 where the ati cards really shine) and more games instead of a handpicked few nvidia's cards are good at. for a better review go to anandtech or tomshardware

wow. so many fanboys here. the 8800gtx loses in almost every single test(except Lost Planet) on 7 out of the 9 reviews i have read. ATI actually has the fastest card out and it outperforms its more expensive nVidia counterparts(8800gtx and ultra). that being said, the 9800gx2 is due out in march so we will have to wait and see if two 8800gts' in onboard sli, which doesnt scale as good as crossfire, can beat the two hd3870's, which are weaker than the 8800gts'.
