@raahsnavj yeah um no. there are really very few tower defense games out there and even less you can play for free.

@Daemoroth @Adavanter it'd be nice but first they'd have to make kickstarter easier to search on and not many of the stuff on there to begin with is worth writing about imo.

@TheWatcher000 have you ever used kick starters search features before? just from going on there for a few minutes all I saw was a jumbled mess of crap.

I think something that could help rpgs a bit would be online multiplayer. at least for games like tales of.

@juboner @decoy1978 no they can just very very few of them. ff usually has very high sales but the last couple had high budgets to match along with incredibly dragged dev times. even though 13-2 didn't sell gangbusters it at the very least made them a crap load of money for a very cheap game.

and let us not forget the rpg juggernaut that is pokemon who outsells most fps.

why would anyone buy this when the majority of those titles are already downloadable online separately for far cheaper?

@do_the_dew100 @keysnsamples retailers pay to buy the shipments usually between 17 to 33 bucks per copy and then sell them to us for the 40 to 60 price tag. the makers already have been payed. sales from retailers only changes how much money they have to pay to buy copies from the creators.
