To get over it, just get rejected. Not to say get purposefully rejected, but once it happens your fear will most likely be over. Almost like a vaccine or something. Get exposed to it, and it won't affect you anymore.

Can I take the pacifist route and say we should agree to disagree? Seriously, no one is going to be convinced here. It all depends on the cultures of our countries... I'd be willing to bet if i was born in London rather than Boston that I would have no inclination to watch American football.

[QUOTE="grenadexjumpr"]

[QUOTE="Engrish_Major"] What's the difference between a 215lb guy hitting another 215lb guy, or a 300lb guy hitting another 300lb guy?Engrish_Major

About 85 pounds. Its not about same size to same size. A 300lb lineman decking a 215 pound quaterback well...you just don't know pain like that, even with full bads.

How fast is the 300lb guy going? Hockey players skate up to 30mph, and hit each other into walls as well as at center ice.

Ray Lewis, one of the premier American football defensive players, had his tackles recorded at 1 metric ton of force. Nuff said.

Like it or not, football or soccer is the worlds best sport.

The english premier league is the very heart of it.

Watching the World Cup is more entertaining, in the right crowd and place as well, than the olympics.

The "best" sport doesn't exist. Doesn't matter if its the world's most popular, that is a different matter. "Best" is totally opinionated.

I've got a cousin who does crew(rowing) and he runs a 5:10 mile and benches 325 pounds. It combines the worst of both aerobic and anaerobic.

I have scars, not any cool ones though. Although i have a huge birthmark on my leg, and I always tell people its a skin graft. No one seems to know what a skin graft actually looks like, so it usually works.

Depends where you go in the US, what school you are planning to attend, and where you are coming from. It can be a great experience... or not so great.

From what I've read, there have been mixed results depending on the person. Use it in moderation, I've had great results.

Edit: If you just want to look bigger, go for it. You won't be as strong as your muscles let on, but it does let you train harder.

Knowing Tom Brady, I'm assuming you chose him first round. I would've gone with a RB.
