@H0RSE: Its competitive only so its different.

PLUS

Attack & Defense can mean totally different things on each map, each team will have an advantage and sometimes going all the same character on specific maps with a strat will win the map straight up because it was designed to favor defensive/tanky characters. I remember a few days ago I was attack in temple of Anubis in quickplay and someone entered in chat "aka the map where attack loses", maps can either favor attack/defense or neither.

In the case that a map favors attackers you just go all D.Va + one healer and you run on the point to take it fast, like honestly its such a dumb strat but it works because some defensive teams aren't designed to have dps that can kill a D.VA if she flies past the turrets.

Going all torbjorn on some maps is also BS because some of those maps are difficult to get past because of the choke points even with a genji (because an entire team isn't going to go genji since you'll die fast from torb guns).

And to all of those who are saying you can always counter those strats:

Not when you're on defense and It takes you twice as long to travel to the point and defend it, its not like you can see what everyone chose from the beginning. It doesn't work every single time...

@Kezzy123: Skins are purchasable through the coins you get from lootboxes, you know from playing the game.

Its not even an aggressive microtransaction system considering cosmetics don't change your gameplay. What they have is infinitely better than just buying the skins (which by the way is what a free to play game would do) because a lot of times when you're able to buy cosmetics you're unable to get them just free.

The lootbox system works on people who actually play the game, not people who go to lvl10 and stop playing. I'm around lvl 60 so ive opened 60 crates. There was roughly enough boxes with coins to buy me three legendary skins of my choice with in-game currency.

The game itself being released at $40 is questionable but for the community that plays it and the fun I had I think the $40 was well worth it.

This is just the average player, I imagine at even higher levels (not just competitive) that a mercy/mcree do well in those situations.

Mcree's gun is still good without fan the hammer if you can get headshots and Mercy is arguably a character you need to know how to use well, Lucio is useful and you don't even really need to know exactly how to use him to make him useful for the team,

@Gravity_Slave: Agreed, characters tend to be OP at the start but as things flesh out certain characters remain dominant because they have better skills in certain patches of a game.

Dota is like this, a character seems op with a new ability but as the community adjusts they figure out it is easy to counter. In other cases the community can't adjust and it is probably because the character is OP which you can nerf directly or indirectly by buffing other characters to counter the op character.

I think in that regards we'll see the same things going on with overwatch and we kind of have already with mcree range nerf.

@nbf4548: To some extent, that isn't Oculus's choice unless they want to take out entire games from the market.

@naruto945: You should be able to buy toys on their own. My cousin works at a McDonalds and she told me that you can buy McDonalds toys at her McDonalds for $1.96 so $2.00. Should be the same for other McDonalds for the most part.
